Shareholders are referred to the various press announcements relating to the Press Corporation fully underwritten, renounceable rights offer of 10,021,318 ordinary shares at a subscription price of MK209.00 per share, one of which indicated that there was a slight delay in the printing and dispatch of the Circular together with Nil Paid Letters of Allocations due to some unforeseen technical reasons which resulted in slight delays in receipt of the Circulars and Letters of Allocation sent out by the Transfer Secretaries
Although most of the shareholders have now confirmed receipt of the Circulars & Letters of Allocations, we are pleased to advise that the Malawi Stock Exchange has agreed to extent the period for trading of Letters of Allocations for a further one week to ensure that all shareholders have enough time to study the Circular and decide what action to take.
In accordance with Rights Offer timetable released in the previous press announcements, shareholders are hereby reminded that trading in Nil Paid Letters of Allocation at the Malawi Stock Exchange started on Monday, June 30, 2008 and this was scheduled to remain open until Wednesday, July 23,2008 during which time, existing shareholders are supposed to submit their Election / Participation Forms to National Bank of Malawi as Transfer Secretaries on the address given above. The rights offer was scheduled to close at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 25,2008.
However with the extension granted by the Malawi Stock Exchange, the revised timetable is as follows:

Listing of rights offer shares and trading therein on the MSE commences - 4 August 2008
Rights offer shares issued and posted to holders of certificated shares on or about - 15 August 2008
Results of the rights offer published in the press - 15 August 2008
