Shareholders are referred to the Press Corporation Limited fully underwritten, renounceable rights offer of 10,021,318 ordinary shares at a subscription price of MK209.00 per share that opened on Monday 30 June 2008 and closed on Friday 1 August 2008. The shares/rights were listed on the Malawi Stock Exchange on Monday 4 August 2008.
We are pleased to advise the results of the renounceable rights offer as detailed below:

Out of the rights offered, the existing shareholders and the investing public took up 64% of the rights and the remaining 36% have been allocated to the underwriters
The rights offer raised an amount of approximately MK2.1 billion as originally envisaged.
We wish to further advise that new rights offer share certificates will be issued and posted to all shareholders from Friday 15 August 2008 by the Transfer Secretaries, National Bank of Malawi Limited through their Financial Management Services Department.
